Not giving up Girona, one of the biggest and beautiful cities in Costa Brava: located midway between the sea and the mountains, Girona boasts a privileged position. The Old Town is one of the most evocative historical centres in Catalonia, with certain elements that are unique in Europe: the Carolingian wall, an exceptionally well conserved Jewish qua rter , and the grandeur of the Cathedral’s Gothic nave, the widest in the world. Girona also has six museums which possess a patrimonial collection of great interest

Due to its proximity Pals becomes the ideal place to stroll along its cobbled streets punctuated by arches, facades with arched windows and balconies of stone. Visit Roses, its excellent geographical and natural conditions have favoured human settlements throughout history.

Roses has unherited a major cultural heritage from all of them: dolmens, menhirs, Greek and Roman achaeological remains, the Visigothic settlement of Puif Rom, the remains of the anciente monatery of Santa Maria and the medieval town, the ashlars of the great modern military fortifications of La Ciudadella and Trinitat Castle, or the fortified farmhouses along a coast menaced by piracy. They are the most outstanding historical monuments belonging to the heritage which Roses can offer.
